CONVENTION STATUS
Vidukon is a non-profit convention. Any monies above and beyond that needed for the running of the con will be donated to RAINN.
ACCOUNTS
Vidukon will not sell or otherwise share your information with any third party. Your IP, email address and choice of air freshener is between you and your gods.
One account per person, only. If you lose your log in details, please do not make another account. Either use the Forgotten Password area of the login, or contact me (lithiumdoll@alter-idem.com) and I'll get your details to you.
COOKIES
The vidukon.co.uk site will set both persitant and non-persistant cookies (ones that last for a while, and ones that delete themselves when you close your browser). These are for account identification and preference setting purposes only, no data is mined or collected.
VIDEO POLICY
The concom reserves the right to remove any vids, vidshows and panels. Honestly, this is likely to be because of a liability issue and we'll try and work with you on it, but sometimes you just have to accept your vid is destined for cult underground status, not con mainstream.
REFUND POLICY
Refunds on registrations are available up to 6 weeks before the convention start date, subject to the method of payment.
Cheque payment: full refund available, minus postage
Paypal payment: full refund available, minus Paypal cut (usually 3.4% + 20p)
If it's a late cancellation, 50% of the registration cost will be credited to your account, usable against purchase of the Con DVD, or registration at the next convention (if there is one).
Additional payments on registration options - i.e., for the Con DVD, High Tea or a place at the Vid Bazaar are non-refundable.
The reason for this is because, at the 6 weeks to go mark, a lot of the budget will be fixed and we won't be able to guarantee someone else registering to pick up the slack. If we do manage to get a budget over-flow, a full refund may be possible even close to the con, we just can't guarantee it. In the case of there being an over-flow, refunds will be made on a first cancelled, first refunded basis.
